Very clean 1961 Dot Neck ES-335 in Cherry. Bigsby or Stoptail? Your choice. This is a really nice example that was well-cared for in its 60 years. The guitar is all original besides the newer Kluson Deluxe tuners (no extra holes), the tailpiece, and the guitar had a B-7 Bigsby added early on (likely by the original dealer) with the Custom-Made Plate. Everyone wanted the Custom-Made plate and Bigsby back in the early 60's as it was viewed as a \"Custom-Made guitar.\" Customers would request that the Gibson dealers put the Bigsby and plate on when purchasing these new!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe untouched PAF pickups sound great as usual and the guitar has great playability. The fully original Cherry finish is in excellent condition with some minor scrapes and dings. The finish is very vibrant and unfaded. Almost no finish checking. Just the lightest surface checks here and there. A little bit of figuring on the top. Solder joints are untouched and features white Cornell Dubilier caps which is not the norm. The original frets are in excellent condition with just a bit of wear on the cowboy chords. Comes with the original hardshell case and the Bigsby\/Custom-Made plate should you decide you prefer that look and function.
