Exceptionally clean 60 year old 00-21 New Yorker with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Hard to imagine this is 60 years old! This is a great model that is basically Martin's first \"reissue\" model of a 1920's 00-21. This would be preferred in today's world as many 20's Martin's couldn't take steel strings like these so this is a great option. This guitar was made in 1961. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe guitar is all-original and very clean. Other than one very small hairline near center seam 2 in. crack (repaired), and some very light checking on the top, this guitar is close to mint condition. There are a few scratches here and there, but it's truly an exceptionally clean example. The guitar plays perfectly thanks to a professional neck reset at some point. The guitar sounds great and is hard to beat if you like the double \"O\" body size. The guitar comes with a newer hardshell case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThese were the first reissues of earlier style guitars to appear in Martin’s catalog.  The NY designation stood for “New York,” [but] by today’s standards the NY models weren’t much like the old Martins with the New York stamp.
