This has 1959 Les Paul vibes but also the 25\/50, The Les Paul, Super Custom vibes of the late 70's and 80's. This was a model made in 2007 for Musician's Friend and was limited to 100 units (if that). The guitar is in excellent condition with a few small scratches and tiny indentations as shown. The finish has some nice natural yellowing which really gives this guitar a unique and attractive look. The guitar has some changed plastic parts (knobs, back plates, pickup rings, missing pickguard and switch cover). The guitar comes with an original brown Lifton-style Gibson case dated from 2007 which was likely upgraded when new by the dealer. This Les Paul Custom guitar's inlays are a tribute to the classic Gibson Super 400--a much loved archtop electric that sported eye-catching split block fingerboard inlays. 496R and 498T Gibson humbucker pickups deliver warm rhythm and hot, solid lead sounds.
