As the first jazz guitarist to record as a soloist, his popularity during his lifetime came from his reputation as a singer as well as with his signature song, “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” in 1929.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Deluxe version features a Sitka Spruce top paired with Maple back and sides with a gorgeous all-over sunburst. The Maple neck has a 1-3\/4-inch vintage taper with gloss finish sporting an Indian Rosewood fretboard, with the popular '27-style Lucas inlay.
