The \"1997\" was the model code given by the english company instead of Rickenbacker's \"330\" as well and were sold from 1964 to 1969. However, we believe this to be a 330S due to the lack of a tremolo as was standard for the models sold by Rose Morris. Instead, this guitar was likely sold directly to a customer rather than through Rose Morris. All specs aside for the tailpiece are exactly the same as a Rose Morris model 1997.
