It is in very good condition for a nearly 50 year old guitar. It has a few scuffs \u0026amp; minor chips  and some of the colour has changed through natural wear – but all in a good way. The neck is pretty clean back and front. It has some light buckle rash on the rear of the body and some lovely natural tarnishing of the metal parts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a sad fact that most 70s Strats have had major or minor surgery during their lives sometimes for good reason. But this one remains amazingly original. It was obviously one of the good ones so it has stayed pretty much the same as the day it left the factory.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbout the only update may have been a remarkably good fret job some time ago because these frets are in great condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApart from that  this one appears to be all original. We cannot discern any changes to –\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBody \u0026amp; neck finish\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll pickups (flat pole)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTremolo bridge \u0026amp; saddles\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTuners\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlastics including knobs \u0026amp; pickguard\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNut\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWiring \u0026amp; pots\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginal 3 way switch\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome 70s necks were of the \u003cspan\u003enarrower variety  but this one has a fairly standard width of 1 5\/8” at the nut. Radius is 7 1\/2” but string bending is clean and easy  even with its currently medium low action.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pickups are bright and snappy sounding. The bridge is rock solid. The classic reverse-F tuners work perfectly and look fabulous.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll in all an excellent original 70s Strat with its lovely blonde finish that magnificent oversize headstock rear skunk stripe and a 3 bolt neck joint that does NOT move or slide around.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eQuite a looker with sound to match.
