This vintage Gibson J-35 is a circa 1939 guitar in Very Good condition. The serial and or FON is not legible, but characteristically with the large heel, V neck and three unscalloped tone bars, placing this at about 1939 seems about right. This is a crack free guitar - the top and sides are 100% original finish. As seen in our photos the back finish is darker for some reason, but is not hiding any cracks or damage. The original bridge has never been off. The frets are original and in low but good condition. This guitar needs nothing but a new home. This c. 1939 Gibson J-35 acoustic plays great and has a bright, clean sound. A non-original, newer hard case is included.
