Beautifully aged square-shoulder ‘Bird with the look, the feel, and the sound. Original cherry burst top has mellowed to a warm fireglow, framed by a dark tort pickguard with that unmistakable hummingbird and foliage etch. Plenty of checking, playwear and vibe throughout. There’s a small split in the top near the guard, stable and well-aged. Dry, articulate and resonant. Sounds like a 1970s close mic'd studio acoustic going through a fancy outboard compressor without breaking a sweat. Wild Horses!
