From the early 90s, 1991 in fact we have quite a rare bird: The Firebird V Celebrity edition.
You are looking at a very rare guitar. Gibson only produced 200 Firebird Celebrity models between 1991-1993.
Classic reverse firebird body, banjo style machine heads. Dig that lush ebony finish, ebony board, and gold hardware. Best of all, it has white reflector knobs and a white guard with black Firebird and 'Celebrity' in cursive on it...Phew.
Medium C shaped neck profile, that is super easy to navigate...killer sounding pickups. This guitar is sure fine looking, it's something else.
Ok, gold hardware has some tarnishing. There is a small washer under the output jack, but no cracks present, just a shore it up type of addition. Headstock is intact and has the coolest little stock decal on the back in gold, that says 'Celebrity Series, Limited Edition' and has a small picture of a Top Hat and a cane. Frets are original and have plenty of life left. Pots are original and date to the 22nd week of 1991.
A really cool piece of Gibson history..that could, and should be yours..
