This is a beautiful LIGHTWEIGHT Fender Custom Shop 50th Anniversary 1954 Strat crafted by the master, John English. It’s a truly great guitar with a beautiful Relic Sunburst finish over Ash, showing only factory wear. The guitar is in near mint collector-grade condition, appearing to be basically unplayed with little to no fret wear. It plays and sounds great, and comes with the original hardshell case and bonus original molded case, COA, and all the case candy.

This is an anniversary strat by the late-great Senior Fender Masterbuilder John English, possibly Fender’s best Master Builder ever. The guitar features finish checking and a few small dings but no major wear, maintaining a Closet Classic condition from the factory.

This is the most accurate reproduction to date (2004), with custom wound 1954 pickups with period correct Alnico 3 poles that are slightly wider than later Alnico 5’s, providing the most accurate '54 tone available. Still the original 3-way switch!

The stunning grain of the Ash body shines through under the accurately mixed and applied Two-Tone Sunburst finish. The serial number was stamped on the real tremolo plate by Roger Centeno using the original die stamp, completing the package on this amazing collector’s piece.
