The ES-335 is one of Gibson's most enduring designs and for our money, this sunburst finish version is the most elegant. (But we have no quarrels with players who prefer the cherry red or natural variations.) This Custom Shop ‘59 Reissue was made in 2019 and it's in fine structural condition with only a few tiny signs of having been played, notably a couple of slight dings to the finish (on the upper horn, treble side) and some scuffs to the pickguard. The fret wear is barely noticeable. Gibson did this example right, and while the nickel metal parts were subtly "aged" with premature tarnish, the finish was not given the relic treatment. This ES-335 has the beefy 1959 neck profile. It’s fitted with a pair of Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups. The COA and the hang tags included when the was new are in the original case.
