2025 Collings 71 Tele Black Aged Tortoise Guard NAMM SHOW Electric Guitar!

Here is a really nice recent Collings 71 model, a very cool and slightly unorthodox design from Collings that blends set-neck construction with a Telecaster-style layout.

This example is a factory aged finish guitar, and it was in fact a 2026 NAMM Show Guitar, which adds an extra layer of interest for collectors and Collings fans. The aging work is very well done, featuring extensive finish checking throughout, giving it a convincingly broken-in vintage aesthetic.

The combination of the aged black finish and tortoise pickguard looks excellent in person, and really reinforces the more vintage-inspired vibe of this model compared to Collings’ more traditional offerings.

As expected from Collings, the overall build quality is outstanding. It has a very different personality compared to their standard line, but still retains the precision, feel, and refinement they’re known for.

Condition is near mint, with only the slightest signs of handling or use. Overall, it presents extremely clean and well cared for.

It comes complete with the original hardshell case and paperwork as shown.

At 7.0 lbs, it has a lightweight and very comfortable feel.
