At the heart of this instrument is a revised #43 leadpipe with a nickel receiver and a new LV bore size, transitioning from .459" to .462". This bore perfectly complements the #65 bell, the largest in Bach’s portfolio. The 190L65GV offers players a rich, broad sound while preserving the classic Bach tone. With a bore size designed for effortless response across all dynamic ranges and registers, this trumpet remains true to Vincent Bach’s vision of fusing the German rotary trumpet’s bell and bore with a French valve block to create a distinctively American trumpet sound.

Bach's Research & Development team meticulously studied historic horns to refine the valve cluster's weight, materials, and construction, resulting in a newly engineered cluster that enhances response and vibrancy. The result is an instrument that delivers unmatched sound.

• The 190L65GV is built on a Large Bore Vindabona (‘LV’) .462" two-piece valve chassis with nickel balusters, nickel outer slides, and brass valve guides
• The #65G bell, measuring 5" with a round brass wire and heavier than standard, provides richer tonal depth and increased resistance to distortion at high volumes
• Crafted from gold brass, the bell offers a mellow sound at soft dynamics and a brilliant, bright tone at louder volumes
• Wide bracing and an additional first slide brace ensure optimal focus and projection
