The Boucher HG-44 is a small guitar that features premium materials and the highest level of build quality that produces a wonderful tone! The smaller body size of this guitar makes it very comfortable to sit and play for hours on end. Don't let the small size fool you there is a big tone provided by the torrefied Adirondack spruce top and Brazilian mahogany sides and back.
Maturity is a great quality, particularly when it comes to acoustic guitars. In 2010, Boucher Guitars innovated by developing with the collaboration of The University Laval of Quebec, a unique roasting process that accelerates the aging of its Adirondack red spruce soundboards by eliminating lignin, but without altering its essential components of the wood, cellulose and hemicellulose.
This process results in a tone that sounds warm, full and more played in similar to guitar that's been used for a long time.
Here is what the builder has to say:
Our HG-44 is crafted for the best tonal results. It will deliver mids and bass depth while finger picking even using a capo at the 7th fret. Evenness and richness of sound will surprise the most accomplished players.
The ability of this instrument to adjust to your musical style will elevate your playing to the point of your finding it difficult to put it down. Many fingerstyle players have told us that they feel immediately became better musicians as soon as they played our Heritage Goose. This gives us at Boucher Guitars a great sense of pride to help you accomplish your full musical potential and to boost your creativity.
The Heritage Goose HG-44 is built using torrefied Adirondack spruce personally selected by Robin Boucher for both the bracing and the soundboard. Its incomparable playability and versatility will make it the ideal guitar to satisfy your most ambitious aspirations.
