This Bourgeois Guitars - D Style 42 - Adirondack - Brazilian Rosewood is a classic, vintage-inspired build with all the modern touches from Dana and his crew. Featuring an Adirondack Spruce top, paired with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides this dreadnought features some beautiful 42-style appointments including Abalone rosette and purfling, as well as ivoroid body and neck binding. Constructed with animal protein glue, this guitar has a balance and clarity to the tone that is surprising out of a new guitar.
Thanks to Bourgeois' asymmetrical bracing pattern, this dread delivers a dry, even responsiveness across the instrument without getting booming in the bass. A truly lifetime guitar, that is both a player, as well as a showpiece displaying some serious craftsmanship from the Maine-based builders. Includes a free setup from our luthiers to your specs.
