This new Bourgeois Guitars - D - Vintage Heirloom model, here in a Shade Top, brings a vintage style dreadnought into the shop with a few Dana Bourgeois signature touches. Featuring an aged tone Adirondack Spruce top, paired with an East Indian Rosewood back and sides this 14-fret Dreadnought brings that full Rosewood sound with the kind of punch and clarity that an Adi top delivers. Thanks to Bourgeois' asymmetrical bracing pattern, this dread delivers a dry, even reponsiveness across the instrument without getting "boomy" in the bass.
A part of the Vintage Heirloom Series, this rosewood dreadnought is further enhanced by the use of Animal Protein glue, which can dry harder making every joint of this guitar that much more resonant and powerful. Includes a free setup from our luthiers and the original hardshell case.
