This Collings Guitars - 002H T - Traditional T Series is a wonderful, easy playing guitar that brings with it some serious tone. Featuring an upgraded German spruce top over a East Indian rosewood back and sides, this vintage-inspired small body is responsive, ringing out with the lightest touch from a flat pick or when played fingerstyle. The 14-fret Traditional neck provides access to the higher frets, while still bringing a comfy playing experience. This 002HGT features Collings' T-Bar style adjustable truss rod that comes standard on Traditional series builds.
This Traditional Series is highlighted by traditional style bracing and tone woods which are adjusted, weighed and voiced to produce particularly warm, rounded highs while maintaining a full, rich low end. The extra thin Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, applied without a polyvinyl sealer, makes for a lively, expressive top that has the feel of an old vintage guitar.
