This Collings Acoustic Guitars - 002H Wenge brings a totally new tonewood pairing to the shop for the very first time. Featuring a Sitka Spruce top and Wenge back and sides, this 00 has the ease and comfort of a small body guitar, with a very unique tonal responsiveness that we're really excited about. Wenge, or African Rosewood, is a species that Collings has been using on fingerboards and bridges of the popular CJ-35 and C10-35 models for years, which are absolute shop favorites. With this build we decided to push the unique wood to the forefront and we're extremely intrigued with the results. With Rope binding, a Nitro finish and a slot-headstock, this 12-fret Collings has all the vintage-inspired appointments that we love. Includes a Collings TKL hardshell case and a free setup from our team of luthiers.
