This Collings 02HG 12-Fret is remarkable, in both looks and tone. The 0 is Collings' smallest body (besides their Baby), at 24 7/8" scale, but rest assured the sound is anything but. Focused, powerful, and highly responsive—due in part to the German Spruce top, slightly stiffer than Sitka, lending a bit more power and volume—and is great for fingerstyle and flatpicking. Other features include a 1 13/16” nutwidth, and a belly-style bridge with 2 3/16” string spacing. Plus, this one has a really elegant looking slotted headstock with nickel Waverly tuners. Brand new with a hardshell case, this Collings 02HG 12-Fret sounds tremendous and is a solid reminder why we love Collings guitars so much.
