This used Collings Guitars - 2007 CW Brazilian Adirondack Varnish features AAA Brazilian rosewood, which is the highest grading for Brazilian rosewood from Collings Guitars. If there was a higher grade category, this guitar would have it. The Brazilian is both perfectly quarter sawn and beautifully colored. The Adirondack Spruce top is of a similar quality, the most select set of wood we have seen. This is the large sound hole model similar to the famous Martin D28 owned by Clarence White, and now owned by Tony Rice. There is expected finish sinkage which is common in a varnish finish, along with minor playwear and a few dings and scratches. This is a guitar that has been played, loved and properly cared for. A stunningly beautiful example of the highest level of craftsmanship and materials. Here in Excellent condition, this CW includes the original hardshell case.
