Featuring a custom lamination construction technique, this Select Maple body, with a Maple center block delivers that vintage semi-hollow sound in a slightly slimmed down, comfortable package. With the addition of a Bigsby tailpiece this I-35 has loads of dreamy and expressive tonal options.
A pair of Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers drive this I-35 with a slightly brighter overall tone than the standard Lollar humbuckers, for more a vintage-inspired sound. The Black top, paired with a gorgeous Walnut stain on the back and sides, is set off beautifully with ungrained Ivoroid body & fingerboard binding. This Collings I-35 LC handles well in all genres and is a phenomenal electric that we can't get enough of.
