Collings Acoustic Guitars - OM2H Cutaway

This Collings OM2H Cutaway, serial# 24953, was custom-designed by our all-star sales crew and features some nice, one-of-a-kind additions. Besides the standard select Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood body, we added pre-war scalloped Adirondack bracing and had the tongue brace removed. This gives it a subtly more open sound by allowing the top to vibrate more freely. Additionally, we added a slightly wider 1 3/4" nut width and a Venetian cutaway to accompany its full 25 1/2" scale - and give you full access to the upper frets unhindered.

The OM2H is an incredibly versatile guitar, too - popular among fingerstyle players, strummers, and flatpickers alike, its playability is rivaled only by its killer tone. Crisp highs, balanced mids, and rich lows abound in this cutaway OM, as well as many unparalleled appointments: a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish; grained Ivoroid binding and strip rosette; Herringbone top trim and matching 2-style backstrip; a tortoise-style celluloid pickguard; a bone nut and saddle; and Abalone diamond and square inlays.
