Precision, Power, and Perfection - The ESP USA Horizon-II Electric Guitar in Tiger Eye Sunburst

One of ESP’s most beautiful guitar shapes, the elegant archtop design of the USA Horizon-II will turn heads with its highly figured quilted maple top and mind-blowing Tiger Eye Sunburst finish that is mirrored on its inline headstock. Crafted by our acclaimed luthiers in Southern California, the USA Horizon-II is a premium quality guitar designed for serious players. It offers set-thru construction for smooth access to the highest frets at 25.5” scale, pairing a carved-topped mahogany body with a three-piece, extra-thin u-shaped maple neck. Other design features include an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets and abalone offset block inlays, natural masked binding on the body, and white binding on the fingerboard and headstock.

We select only the finest components with ESP USA guitar models, so the USA Horizon-II Tiger Eye Sunburst features Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners, a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design for excellent sustain and resonance, Dunlop strap locks, and a bone nut. The direct-mount pickups on the USA Horizon-II Tiger Eye Sunburst are a custom hand-wound set that you won’t find outside of ESP. In the bridge position is a Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob. The Custom 14 is paired with a special cosmetically-matching Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck position, a legendary pickup that offers a hot, full tone with tons of natural sustain.

The USA Horizon-II Tiger Eye Sunburst includes a custom ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case, and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.

Graphite Neck Reinforcement Bars

Get maximum strength and stability from your guitar’s neck, with higher long-term reliability. All ESP USA models are made with two high-strength bars of carbon fiber.

Carved Top w/ Natural Masked Binding

Over a half inch of beautiful figured maple is carved to our ESP USA Horizon contours, allowing for the natural masked binding to highlight the exquisite top.

Set Thru Neck Joint

ESP USA models that include a set-thru neck joint offer the benefits of classic set-neck construction, but with a modern look and feel that allows for smooth, fast and comfortable access to the guitar’s upper registers.
