This Fairbanks F-35 is a seriously fantastic round-shouldered acoustic that was inspired by old '30s and '40s J-35s, specifically Paul Geremia's own 1939 - which was used as the template for this model. Loaded with vintage-style details and construction techniques, this is a truly classic player - one that will last a lifetime. It has a Red Spruce top, Honduran Mahogany neck, back and sides, and a Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard - which together make it a powerhouse of a guitar.
This has a 24 3/4" scale length and 1 3/4" nut width. Its tone has a distinct dry feel to it, but it's also a real booming guitar with an old-time, vintage sound - one that probably sounds older than you. This has plenty of nice vintage-style appointments, too: Ivoroid binding; a Firestripe celluloid pickguard; mother-of-pearl dot inlays; unbleached bone nut and saddle; a Madagascar Rosewood bridge; and a nitrocellulose lacquer Sunburst finish.
A great and versatile player, the F-35 is equally suited for fingerstyle playing and old-timey music, or just hard-driving flatpicking - regardless of your style, it has you covered. This model also features non-scalloped Red Spruce bracing, giving it some nice highs, in addition to its already stellar mids and lows. This Fairbanks F-35 is in Excellent condition and includes a TKL hard case.
