This Roy Smeck-style Fairbanks F-35 12-Fret is a custom instrument with gorgeous, yet subtle, flame maple binding for a truly one-of-a-kind luthier-made guitar. Featuring an Adirondack spruce top, paired with mahogany back and sides, this guitar is lightweight, expressive and wide open, working great as a strummer, with a flatpick or fingerstyle player.
Known for his interpretation of classic vintage builds, this F-35 from Dale Fairbanks delivers a nod to the Roy Smeck Gibson models, here with a slope-shoulder, 12-fret design. The 12-fret to the body design makes for a comfy dreadnought-sized instrument, with the shifted bridge and sound hole landing in the sweet spot under the right hand. A great example of a custom, luthier made guitar, we're excited to have this model in from Dale Fairbanks. Includes a TKL hardshell case.
