This Custom Shop 1950s Thinline Relic, built in 2017, reimagines that legacy with premium tonewoods, vintage styling, and hand-wound pickups that make it sing.
The finish is Dirty Sonic Burst — a custom colour with serious attitude — paired with a stunning rosewood neck and fingerboard, a rare and luxurious combo that looks and feels phenomenal. Light relic wear gives it a naturally played-in aesthetic, without overdoing it.
Tonally, this Tele is a beast. A hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup offers glassy highs with Strat-like clarity, while the hand-wound Broadcaster bridge pickup delivers rich mids and raw bite with exceptional output. Together, they cover a huge tonal range — funk, country, indie, blues, and gritty rock — it’s all there. The semi-hollow 2-piece ash body adds resonance and harmonic bloom, while the ‘57-style Soft V neck profile, 9.5" radius, and medium jumbo frets give it a vintage feel with modern playability.
