The Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Relic in Black is a collectible, ultra-limited edition Strat that pays tribute to the original year of the world’s most iconic electric guitar. Crafted by Fender’s master luthiers, this anniversary model blends period-correct features with a tastefully relic’d finish and legendary Custom Shop attention to detail.

A lightweight, off-center 2-piece ash body finished in relic’d Black nitrocellulose lacquer delivers rich resonance and a striking visual presence. The AAA birdseye maple neck is carved to an authentic 1954 soft “V” profile, topped with a 9.5" radius maple fretboard and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets—offering vintage comfort with modern playability. Hand-wound Strat Fat ’50s pickups and Strat Vintage Modified Wiring #1 provide the legendary bell-like tones, punchy mids, and sparkling highs that define the Strat sound.

This guitar is loaded with commemorative features, including a 70th Anniversary headstock decal, serial number engraved on the backplate, eggshell relic pickguard, aged chrome/nickel hardware, and a deluxe hardshell case.
