An NOS lacquer finish lets the two-piece select ash body breath and resonate with each note. Its roasted 2A birdseye maple neck has a ’60-style “oval C” profile, compound-radius (9.5”-12”) round-lam rosewood fingerboard, and 22 narrow tall (6105) frets for exceptional play in all registers.

Custom Shop hand-wound ’64 pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup) are connected to a five-way switch and vintage modified #2 wiring with tone-saver bleed, which features a master volume, tone #1 (neck and middle pickups), and tone #2 (bridge) with treble bleed (for keeping mids and rolling off highs without adding bass). Other features include a three-ply mint green pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, Sperzel® die-cast tuning machines with white pearloid buttons, bone nut and American Standard string tree.
