This Franzke F5 F Style Mandolin has a really nice singing tone with beautiful sustain. It's handcrafted by Mark Franzke in Kansas who started building mandos under the moniker 'Flinthills' Mandolins, and later added his own name. The Red Adirondack Spruce top on this F5 is really gorgeous and paired with a stunning one piece Red Maple back, with Maple sides and neck.
It's a looker for sure, but its tone is equally impressive. Nice details here include a James engraved tailpiece, Grover tuners, mother-of-pearl inlay and a lacquer finish. It plays smoothly with a 1 5/32" nutwidth and comes with a hard case. This Franzke F5 F Style Mandolin is a great instrument from another local/regional luthier!
