This Ray Whitley "Recording King" is the deluxe rosewood model made by Gibson in the late 1930s. The guitar has had a professional neck reset and is in excellent playing condition. Top shows some play wear and weather checking and remains crack free. There are three tight and minor side cracks at the bass lower bout and one tight finish type crack on the back. Tuners are original and in excellent working order. The bridge is clean and original with a new saddle. The saddle is the only changed part on this extra nice example. No finish work, overspray or touch up. Includes a gorgeous tweed hard shell case.
