Few electric guitars have achieved such instant acclaim across such a broad range of musical genres as Gibson’s ES-335. Unveiled in 1958, the ES-335 was designed as a best of both worlds electric that married more than half a century of Gibson archtop tradition to the latest electric guitar innovations.

After a year dedicated to studying, scanning, and listening to original examples. The skilled craftspeople at Gibson have meticulously recreated every contour, profile, inlay, and colour of these priceless vintage models in stunning detail. The 1959 ES-335 Reissue models showcase rounded cutaways, Medium C-shape neck profiles scanned from originals, dot inlays, and vintage-replica parts. Additionally, it features Light Ageing with beautiful, subtle checking in the Faded Cherry finish and in the headstock. This aged finish treatment, along with lightly aged hardware, simulates decades of natural play wear, giving it the unique character, vibe, and feel of an original example from the Gibson Golden Era.

A highlight is the perfect recreation of the finest '59 neck profile with gently rounded binding edges achieves that unparalleled vintage playing feel while period-correct hardware and appointments and of course a pair of great PAF-style humbucking pickups complete the package.

This ’59 ES 335 reissue is in excellent original condition. This one features the 1959 rounded neck profile which is a little heftier than models produced after mid-1962 giving you plenty to hold onto. Feels great plays beautifully.

It is a fabulous instrument. It has been lightly played but well looked after. There is little apparent player wear, and it is in excellent working condition. It is well set up with a fast neck and low action. Great sounding pickups no visible fret wear and everything just feels right.

Comes with its original Gibson Custom hard-shell case in excellent condition and Gibson Custom Certificate of Authenticity.
