This 1964 ES-335 from the 2021 Gibson Custom Shop is a faithful recreation of the legendary '60s model down to vintage-accurate construction, period-correct components, and aesthetics. A three-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body feels resonant when playing giving that classic rounded tone that bites when dug into. Sporting a solid mahogany neck, the accurate medium "C" neck profile feels great in the hands. The 1 11/16" nut width and 24 3/4" scale length is the reason playing these is a breeze up and down the neck.
Classic Gibson tone is achieved by the original two unpotted Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers, meticulously researched to have the same sonic profile as the original PAF humbuckers from the '50s: balanced lows and clear mids & highs with ultimate clarity. Here in Very Good condition with typical playwear and light scratches to the finish. With wonderfully accurate tones and looks, this 335 is sure to impress the most discerning of players.
