This 1964 ES-335 Historic Reissue is a lovely recreation of the revered '60s model made in 2023 at the Gibson Custom Shop. Here in a classic Nitro Cherry finish, it features a three-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body that feels resonant, giving that classic rounded tone that bites when dug into. A solid mahogany neck with the era-accurate medium "C" neck profile feels great in the hands. The 1 11/16" nut width and 24 3/4" scale length, along with the top-wrapped tailpiece, allows for easy play even with thicker strings for a fuller sound.
Classic Gibson tone is achieved by the original two unpotted Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers, meticulously researched to have the same sonic profile as the original PAF humbuckers from the '50s: balanced lows and clear mids & highs with ultimate clarity. Here in Very Good condition with typical playwear and light scratches to the finish. With extremely accurate tones and looks, this 335 is sure to impress the most discerning of players.
