This is a beautifully crafted letter-perfect re-creation of a landmark model, the 1956 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. It has all the features of that classic guitar, plus some amazing upgrades that make this particular instrument more than special.

This LPR-6 has been given a stunning, authentic relic treatment by leading Sydney luthier Frank Grubisa. Frank uses his own proprietary relic techniques to painstakingly recreate the look and feel of an original 50s instrument. The hardware has been aged to give it that sexy dull patina of old metal. The fine detail of the lacquer checking technique is almost impossible to photograph – but we tried ! And the authentic player wear on the top & back simply makes it look & feel like a well loved instrument that has been well and truly played in.

These upgrades alone would cost more than an average new Les Paul. But this is not an average Les Paul. It is a truly unique detailed recreation of a classic instrument that plays and sounds way better than anything straight out of the box, no matter what the cost.

Includes Gibson owners instructions, Gold Warranty booklet, Custom Shop polishing cloth, and Gibson Custom, Art & Historic Certificate of Authenticity
