This Super 400 is 1 of 2 handcarved by Rick Henrichson of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. See below Rick's words on the inspiration of this guitar.

"My version of a Gibson Master Museum L-7 originally created by Ren Ferguson. The original had a spruce top however these have flamed maple top and backs. The shield design is representative of a coat of arms with surrounding carvings being scrollwork and acanthus found in many forms throughout the centuries. Fingerboard and headstock inlays remain true to the original design. The neck heel carve flows with the beauty and grace of the artwork in that time period."
