Hardware: The switch tip has been replaced. The rest of the hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is in good cosmetic condition with expected signs of aging and play wear. There is light to moderate finish checking throughout the body and neck. There are various small dents and dings throughout the body, with a small concentration around the bass side of the fretboard tongue. There is a small scrape on the top at the bass side waist. One of the hooks on the bass side of the tailpiece has been partially broken off, but the tailpiece is still stable and functional. There is light belt buckle rash on the back, and another small concentration of dents on the back side lower bout. There are a few small finish chips on the back of the neck. There is light finish checking on the back of the headstock transition. The edges of the headstock have a few small dents and chips. The hardware is lightly tarnished with age. Much of the original gold plating has worn off over time.

Modifications/Repairs: The switch tip has been replaced.

Serial Number: 9 1829

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and low with moderate play wear. The back of the headstock is stamped with a "2" for factory second. The serial number dates to 1959.
