This 2010 David Harvey signed Gibson mandolin delivers a full, round sound with an added punch from this intriguing build. Inspired by the vintage F4s of the early years at Gibson, this particular F4 is a bit of a hybrid design. Featuring an F4 oval-hole/scroll body, combined with an F5-style 14-fret neck, giving more access to the fingerboard while still retaining that warm, oval-hole sound. Here with a radius'd fingerboard and a 14" scale length for more modern playability, this is a unique modern piece from the Gibson mandolin shop.
