This Guild - Used Artist Award AA-31 from 1997 is a gorgeous archtop with loads of premium appointments and tone woods. Starting with a hand carved bookmatched solid Spruce top, caped off with the blonde Amber finish that really makes it stand out in the typical world of laminated archtops. Paired with a Flame Maple back, sides and neck to complete this stunning combination of tonewoods. Everything is original on this AA-31 with the exception of it's pickup, which has been replaced with a Custom Lindy Fralin PAF humbucker specially made to fit into this slightly smaller than standard pickup design. The mounting system was also altered to accommodate the different pickup mount but cosmetically it's a perfect fit, and sonically brings new life to this stunning guitar. Includes original hardshell case.
