This Guild X-700 BLD HG is a jazz archtop produced in the famous Westerly, RI Guild factory in 1998 and in very limited numbers. One of around 350 made, this X-700 features a solid carved top, paired with a stunning flame ample back in a 17" body for a bright, articulate tone and a natural reverb that delivers.
Sporting a pair of Seymour Duncan SD1 pickups, with independent volume and tone to dial in just the right sound, and a master volume to let you sit in right in mix, whether solo, with a combo or a full-on big band. Here in excellent condition, there is some minor wear to the finish, notably between the bridge and tailpiece (see photos) and very minor swirling to the pickguard, along with minimal fretwear. A beautiful, and great sounding jazz box. Includes the original hardshell case.
