Kenny Hill Curva Nega Classical Guitar, 2003 [USED]

This Kenny Hill Curva Negra Classical Guitar was built in Hill’s Felton, California workshop during 2003 and features a Hauser-influenced cutaway body. The guitar has a Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood for sides, back headplate and bridge. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony for the fingerboard. As an advancement, this instrument is equipped with an adjustable truss rod, accessed through the sound hole. There is a Fishman pickup installed for stage applications.

The finish is French Polish and has some cosmetic wear marks on the top mostly. The intent of French Polish is to provide some protection to the instrument while imposing the least limitations on its vibration.

As a "crossover" style instrument, the Kenny Hill Curva Negra classical guitar has a soft Venetian cutaway allowing increased access to the upper registers, and a very gently crowned fingerboard. These modifications help the guitar fit better into the jazz fingerstyle, Latin and Bossa Nova genres, as well as traditional Classical styles.

The guitar plays comfortably up the neck and is comes with a black hard shell Case.
