This Orchestra Model, from Kansas luthier Leo Posch, is an exquisite example of his attention to detail and superb craftsmanship. Thanks to the maple back and sides this 14-Fret OM delivers a lush, and high fidelity response, with loads of focused projection. Based on the lauded vintage, pre-war OMs while tweaked to Posch's sense of design and tone, this custom build features an Adirondack (Red) Spruce top, and comes with plenty of volume to boot.
Little touches and upgrades including Rosewood binding, Stainless Steel frets, Ebony tuner buttons and hide glue construction take this understated Orchestra Model and elevate it, with a level of care and craftsmanship that comes from a single-builder shop. Based just up the road in McLouth, KS, we're lucky to have a builder of Leo's quality right in our backyard.
