The LOTUS Solo trumpet is a masterfully designed instrument, featuring an innovative bell shape that sets it apart. Beginning with a narrow bell stem—identical to the Classic and Universal models—it ensures effortless note-slotting and exceptional upper-register stability. As the shape expands, it mirrors the “MAX” bell, dramatically broadening the sound and enhancing projection.

The copper bell stem delivers a warm, creamy tone at softer dynamics, evoking a cornet-like sweetness ideal for chamber music and small-group jazz. However, when pushed, the bell’s unique shape transforms the sound into a powerful, resonant explosion of sonic energy.

The large phosphor bronze flare enhances projection, allowing for a vast range of tone colors even at lower volumes. Paired with a lead mouthpiece and a nickel silver tuning slide, the Solo trumpet excels in lead and commercial playing. Alternatively, when used with a deeper mouthpiece and a bronze tuning slide, it produces a rich, warm tone—proving its incredible versatility.
