This Martin D-28 is a very nice example of a pre-1950 Brazilian dreadnought. Built in 1949, this guitar has its original finish, 100%, with no touch-ups or oversprays. The finish shows player-type wear while the top shows some additional medium weather-checking - all acceptable for a guitar that's been played but never abused. It's crack-free and the original Maple bridge plate is in excellent condition. The bridge is also full thickness. The neck has been professionally reset resulting in a great-playing guitar with proper saddle height. The saddle is a new bone replacement, but the original uncut Ivory saddle is included. The inside of the guitar is incredibly clean and unaltered. This Martin D-28 is a real jewel of a guitar. The included case is either original or period-correct.
