This 1934 Martin 0-17 is a fast becoming a vintage Martin of choice for singer-songwriters and Americana players alike. Featuring a Mahogany top, back and sides, this scalloped, x-braced build brings a focused, responsive tone combining the warmth of the mahogany with the lightness of the small body. A great guitar for fingerstyle, blues or flatpick accompaniment lines.
Here in very good condition, the interior of this guitar is one of the cleanest we've seen for a mid-30s guitar. There are minor finish scrapes and bumps, along with a crack free top. The tuners have been repalced with open-gear Waverlys. From later in 1934, this Single-0 does feature the more modern t-style frets, making future fretwork or refrets a relatively ease. Includes a hardshell case.
