This 1939 Martin D-18 is a great guitar that needs nothing but a new home. The neck has been professionally reset and refretted, and the fingerboard remains at full thickness. The bridge is an exact size replacement, though it once had a slightly oversized bridge and there is minor finish touch-up around the old bridge footprint. It is very nicely done and is hardly noticeable. There are a few other areas of minor touch up, mostly on the treble lower bout area—one area on the top finish, as well as two or three tight repaired cracks and minor touch-ups on the side. Top and back remain crack-free, with a beautiful played-in patina. It has the original bridge plate with a very thin string doubler. The inside of the guitar is neat and clean, and the original G98 tuners still work great. This 1939 Martin D-18 is in Very Good condition and includes a non-original hard case.
