This D-18 was literally Grampa’s guitar. We acquired this guitar from the granddaughter of the original owner. Even when it first arrived with high action it was immediately apparent that this was a special guitar. It had all the things that an experienced vintage person would look for: wide neck, original bridge, original bridge plate, original frets, original tuners, original finish, no top cracks, etc - you get the idea.
A very careful neck reset and new frets has made this already wonderful guitar one that has been a treat to play for some of our many great player friends.
