This McPherson MG 4.0 XP Bear Claw Spruce/African Mahogany guitar is a super high quality acoustic, crafted with some of the finest materials used in guitar building today. The almost holographic looking Bear Claw Sitka Spruce top imparts a sound similar to Sitka only with a more robust and punchy voice due to it being slightly stiffer. The African Mahogany back and sides have a lively tone that's noticeably woody and earthy, and give it a distinct warmth that's still bright and very responsive. Paired together, this guitar sounds absolutely phenomenal. It's outfitted with an L.R. Baggs 9 volt Element active electronics system, so when you plug in and play, the true tone will always come through perfectly.

It has a 25 1/2" scale length and 1 3/4" nut width with a 2 3/16" string spacing. The Ebony fingerboard has 20 frets and is simple yet very elegant with no inlay. It also includes three custom saddles for your choice of low, medium, or high action. Excellent details abound, including Indian Rosewood binding. The cantilevered African Mahogany neck is incredibly comfortable and is free of the soundboard, which gives this acoustic even more resonance. It does have a non-adjustable carbon truss rod for superior strength and stability. The McPherson MG 4.0 XP Bear Claw Spruce/African Mahogany guitar is an amazing instrument through and through, perfect for fingerstyle players and strummers alike. Includes an Armitage hardshell case and full setup to your specs from our luthiers.
