McPherson Acoustic Guitars - 4.5 Camrielle Pau Rosa/Sitka Spruce

The McPherson 4.5 Camrielle Sitka Spruce/Pau Rosa is a superb acoustic guitar - from playability to construction to tone, few guitars supersede this. Here with a Sitka Spruce top and beautiful Pau Rosa back and sides (a particularly dense wood), the combination sounds amazing - very warm but with crisp and clear highs and well-defined mids. The cantilevered African Mahogany neck, free of the soundboard, is very comfortale, and allows the top to vibrate more freely. The neck also has a non-adjustable carbon truss rod for extra support and stability. This McPherson is outfitted with an L.R. Baggs 9 volt Element active electronic system installed, so even when playing plugged-in, you (and your audience), will hear the true tone of the guitar.

The scale length is 25 1/2" and the nut width is a comfortable 1 3/4" with a 2 3/16" string spacing. The elegant Ebony fingerboard has 20 frets and a position marker just on the twelfth fret. Easy access to the higher frets is afforded by its Florentine cutaway, and the Ebony binding adds a wonderful accent to its overall aesthetic. Included are three custom saddles for your choice of low, medium, or high action.
