The top is Redwood, paired with stunning Maccassar Ebony back and sides, a pairing that works particularly well when pushed moderately or played fingerstyle. This MG has great response and excellent sustain and the Macassar Ebony gives this nice power, depth and clarity. The Redwood top adds warmth and overtones of Cedar. This is already outfitted with an L.R. Baggs RTS2 system ribbon transducer pick-up, pre-amp and volume control - specially designed for McPhersons, so you're ready to play out.
