This used Mowry A5 is an excellent mandolin with a fit, finish and level of quality not often seen from of a single-builder shop. Featuring an Engelmann Spruce top over a stunning set of Flamed Red Maple, this A5 has a nice woody chop, while still possessing a refined high-end. This combination makes for a versatile mandolin, as at home holding its own in a bluegrass jam as picking through some Irish tunes. Here in Very Good condition with moderate fretwear, there are a few signs of playwear, most notably on the back, bass side of the top (see photos). Includes the original hardshell case.
